Live games offered at D1 Club Casino
The live games offered are Blackjack, Roulette, Dice & Cash Poker Games(No Tournaments).
Blackjack is one of the most popular and widely played casino games around the world, due to its exciting blend of skill and chance. At the D1 Casino, stay smart and you’ll be sure to reach that all-important 21! Six standard decks of 52 playing cards are used in Blackjack with Player positions from 1 to 7 at the table. The objective is to beat the Dealer’s hand with a combination of 2 or more cards, without exceeding a hard total of 21. Value of cards: Ace: 11 or 1. Pictures/Court cards i.e. Kings, Queens and Jacks: 10. All other cards are valued at their face value.
A Blackjack is the first two cards dealt, with a combination of one Ace and one Picture or Ten. The Blackjack is the highest combination paid on completion of the initial deal 3-2 odds, should the Dealer card not be a Court card, 10 or an Ace. One to seven Player positions/boxes are available at the table. To participate in the game, the Player must place an appropriate wager within the Player box, prior to the initial deal (the first card dealt). Up to three players may play one box at the same time. Following the Dealer announcement of “No more bets”, Players may not adjust, remove or add to their initial wager.
The Dealer shall commence the initial deal by drawing the first card from the shoe and placing it face up to the first box containing a wager, the process repeated working from left to right around the table until each Player receives their first card. The Dealer will receive the next card, also face up and then each Player dealt their second card in order. Players may not touch the cards.
Each hand total is achieved by adding the point total of the cards, i.e. the Player cards are 6 and King, the total for that hand is 16. Players may request additional card(s) dealt with their box to improve their hand total, should the additional card(s) cause the hand total to exceed 21, the hand will lose (bust) and the cards and wagers are removed by the Dealer.
Hands combinations using an Ace, totalling 21 are always considered 21, not 11. The Dealer shall draw cards up to the total of 17, hand totals of 17 or higher, are always considered a hard total and no further cards are drawn. The Dealer hand exceeding a total of 21 will lose (bust). In this case, all valid player wagers are paid.
Should the Dealer achieve a total of e.g. 17, their hand will be compared to each Player’s hand in turn. Players with a higher hand total of the Dealer will be paid “even money” (1-1 odds), hands lower than the Dealers shall lose and Player hands equal to the Dealers will be a “standoff”
At D1 Club Casino Roulette is a fast-paced game that pays high dividends and is a great adrenalin booster. Place your bets on the red or black and choose your favourite numbers, as the ball slows its pace and leads to an exhilarating win!
The game of American Roulette will have a layout, use one wheel with 37 equal compartments numbered zero to 36 in a prescribed order, a ball that the Dealer will spin and different valued chips.
The Dealer shall spin the ball around the inside rim of the wheel and in an opposite direction to the wheel.
As the ball comes to rest in a section of the wheel the Dealer will declare that is the winning number for the spin. The winning number will be marked on the layout by the Dealer and all wagers are paid or taken accordingly.
The layout will have printed corresponding numbers, which match the numbers on the wheel where Players may place their wagers.
Rules of the game
Each table will display the minimum and maximum wagers that may be placed.
As the dealer spins the ball, they will announce, “place your bets”
The Dealer will announce “no more bets” twice, upon the second announcement as the ball speed reduces, Players must not place, alter, remove or add to their initial wagers and the Dealer may refuse to accept any wagers after this time.
Should the winning number be zero, all even chance, column and dozen wagers shall lose.
The D1 Club Casino is host to not just the only Craps table game in town, but the only Craps table in Ireland. Craps brings a great party feel to the atmosphere and is highly recommended in the company of friends. The fun rating is priceless, so don’t miss out on this rare opportunity.
Just wait for a new shooter to take the dice and then put €10 down on the “PASS LINE.”
Rules of the game
The betting starts with the “Come-Out Roll” and your first bet is placed on the Front Line or Pass Line. This is the first term beginners need to learn and add to their vocabulary. The Come-Out Roll is the first roll of the dice or the first one after the previous betting round has finished.
The player who throws the dice is called the “Shooter”. A game of Dice plays as follows: you, the “Shooter”, pick two dice (from a set of five) and throw them down the craps table.
Once the number rolled there are three possible outcomes:
1. Natural: A ‘Natural’ means that the result of your roll is a 7 or 11. When this happens, you win and get to roll the dice again.
2. Craps: You roll a 2 (Snake Eyes), 3, or 12 – you don’t win on the front line and those bets come down, but the round is not over, and you get to roll again.
3. Point: If you roll a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 the Dealer will mark your Point (the rolled number) on the table.
Here is when the fun really starts! What you need to do now is to roll the dice once more and hope you’ll hit the same number again. It doesn’t have to be the same combination of dice as you had before. As long as it’s the same sum – you win.
The number 7 is not a very lucky one in this case since if you roll a 7, the game finishes and the Dealer will call “Seven Out”, all bets will be taken down, the dice are passed to the next Shooter and a new round begins.
Once you learn this part by heart, you can move on to all the other betting options and that’s the real fun part because that’s where you win a lot.
4. Brag 3 Card Poker
3 Card Poker, also known as a Brag, is a very simple and slightly faster variation of Poker. It dates back to the 16th century in England. There are two ways to win 3 Card Poker. First, the Player wins, when he receives a better hand than Dealer or the Dealer fails to qualify with Queen High or better. The second way is the Player wins, when his cards are a Pair or better, regardless of the Dealer’s hand.
Rules of the game
In order to participate in a hand; the Player must bet on the area marked ANTE, with an optional bet placed on the PAIR PLUS. Each Player and the Dealer will be dealt 3 cards face down. Once the player has all three cards, the Player will check their cards
If the Player chooses to stay in the game, they must place a bet on the PLAY/BET BOX. The bet placed must be equal to the sum the Player placed on the Ante at the start of the game. Should the Player choose not to continue with the hand they can FOLD and forfeit their Ante.
5. Punto Banco
Punto Banco is also known as Baccarat. The Dealer draws two cards from a shoe for the Player (Punto), and the Bank (Banco!). The values of the two cards in each hand are added together. The object of the game is to predict, via the trend, which hand will have the highest total. The nearest to 9 is declared the winning hand.
In addition, there are also some fantastic side bets you can take advantage of with higher returns. These are the Tie (Égalité) and Pairs (matching card values on either the Player or the Bank e.g. Bank has a pair of 9′s).
You can NOW also take advantage of betting on the Tie Outcome e.g. both hands tie with a 6
Eight standard decks of 52 playing cards are used in the game of Punto Banco, (AKA – Super Six Baccarat). The Player may choose to place a wager on either Player, Banker, and Super 6, (Égalité) Tie, Banker or Player Pair. Players may not place a wager on Super 6 without placing a bet on the Player or Banker’s hand.
Rules of the game
Wagers placed on the hand with the highest score shall win, wagers placed on the hand with the lowest score will lose. Should the Player and Banker hand total be equal, wagers on Player and Banker will standoff and Tie wagers paid 8-1 odds.
All winning Player and Banker wagers are paid at 1-1 odds, except when the Banker wins with a six-point total, in this case winning wagers are paid at 1-2 odds.
Tie wagers will lose should either Player or Banker win and Super 6 wagers will lose in the event of a tie.
The Banker wins with a six-point total, Super 6 wagers will be paid 12-1.
Winning pair wagers on Player or Banker will be paid 11-1.
6. Russian Poker
Russian Poker is named after the country where it originated and has taken the world by storm. The D1 Casino is now Ireland’s first only Russian Poker tournament.
Each player will receive 5 cards in the initial deal, playing against the dealer. A Player can change 2,3,4 or 5 cards during the course of play or buy a sixth all for just the price of their ante. The Dealer’s hand qualifies on Ace/King or Higher and Great hands can also be insured against the Dealer not qualifying.
Rules of the game
A standard deck of 52 playing cards is used in the game of Russian Poker and has a maximum of four Player positions per table. To participate in the game Players must place a wager on the Ante box prior to the first card dealt. No more bets will be accepted following the Dealer announcing, “No More Bets” Players may not touch, adjust or add to their initial wager following this announcement.
Should there be empty boxes at the table; Players may wager on more than one box, however, subsequent boxes must be played blind, i.e. place the appropriate ante and bet wager prior to the initial deal equal to their open hand. Players may not see or replace any cards; the identity of their hands will only be revealed during the final settlement.
Players may buy a card for the Dealer on blind hands in the event of a no game for the Dealer, however, they may not view their cards. Following all Players placing their initial wagers, the Dealer shall deal 5 face-down cards to each Player position in turn and 5 cards to the Dealer. The Dealers’ 5th card shall be turned face up.
